Veronica Solis, is a cancer survivor and daycare employee at Kids’ College Learning Center in Edinburg, Texas. Solis loves her job and has never missed a day of work, even when she was battling cancer. That is why she was reduced to tears when her boss told her to come outside to see something (video below).
Recently, Solis was late to work and her transportation had already fallen through several times. Naturally she began to worry about her position at the daycare center. She even told her boss to find somebody to replace her because she knew the kids relied on her to be a work on time.
Alex Rios, Solis’ boss, knew she was the best and was not about to let her quit. A few days later, when Solis arrived at work, he told her that they would be filming a commercial that day.
Rios brought the camera crew into interview Solis busy cooking meals for the children. He asked her to explain why she loves her job.
He then asked her to meet him outside as soon as possible. When she walked outside, he surprised her with her own car. Solis was shocked and immediately broke down in tears.
Rios told Solis that he wanted to do something special for her because she had been such a faithful and great employee. When he had realized she needed a reliable vehicle, he jumped at the opportunity to help.
